EBI:  question 3

There was great use of transitions within the extract. Firstly, there was use of continuous cuts.  For example; after  the antagonist pointed the gun in the man’s face there was then an instant cut. Here are many dietetic sounds such as the flammable liquid, urine, fire, the gunshot and walking. This is accompanied by a non-dietetic atmospheric orchestral sound bridge which is parallel. this is accompanied by a non-dietetic atmospheric orchestral sound bridge which is parallel to the scene, it also crescendos at/just before main points. The special effects are exaggerated and are made slightly louder which draws attention points such as him urinating on the flame, this particular point confuses the identification with the character as the audience does not know whether the intention was to give the fellow protagonist time to escape or to give them self-time to confront and do what they need to do. Furthermore, there’s was great use of contrapuntal sound.
